This customer letter, including the pictures, arrived in the mail today and made us extremely happy:

Dear pet.interiors team,

Thank you very much also on behalf of my 4 cats for the great divan cat cushion and the replacement cover. We were all very happy about it and tested everything straight away. As always, best quality and outstanding comfort…

Exactly the right thing for my rascals, as three of the four are already over 10 years old and are basically in advanced cat age. There’s a pinching and aching in your bones. And since a cat sleeps almost all day, it should also lie comfortably. My Lucky had a herniated disc a year ago and had to have surgery. She particularly enjoys the comfort of the cat bed.

The youngest cat, Mikesch II, also appreciates the advantages of the pillows. It has the most space as a “half portion”. She immediately noticed that it was particularly easy to sleep on.

The cat beds are also very visually appealing. Thanks to the wide range of colors, there is something to suit every taste and every home furnishing.

I placed the first two cat cushions outside in the garden and I have to say that they held up very well despite the wind and weather. The covers are very easy to wash, especially if you have covers to change :-). The sun has faded the color a bit, but it’s even and so it’s not noticeable. Since the cushions are actually only intended for the inside of the house, I used them for a slightly different purpose. But the cats loved the pillows. Especially on colder evenings, because the covers are cozy and warm.

I didn’t wash the inner pillow and its contents; to be honest, I didn’t dare do that because the washing machine was so full with the large pillows that I had to take the pillow out again. I was afraid that there would be no room for the water in the drum. But washing the covers is enough.

I am very happy with your cat cushions, they look very nice and are well received. Even if they have a price, they are worth every euro! I am sure that I am making a valuable contribution to the health of my cats, because lying down in a way that is gentle on their joints is good for everyone. And if the cat is happy – then the person is happy too!

With this in mind, thank you again for the great service and the wonderful products. And all of this in the name of Kimba, Blacky, Lucky and Mikesch II. And in the name of the neighboring sparrows, who sometimes lie on it when no one is looking.​

Max the cat is a real Rambo!

A customer story:

Max is actually a very sweet, cuddly and affectionate cat. But he also has a darker side. He is the proud owner of a Rondo Stand scratching post in felt. Now we have to reorder the Rondo back cushion.

Max hammers the back cushion out of the Rondo several times a day and also at night, dragging it around the entire apartment, growling violently, in order to cover the four food bowls with it in the kitchen. And all of this just to block his sister Mara’s access to the food.

The once beautiful pillow has mutated into a corroded, battered, undefined something. We would rather not take the desolate pillow away from our Max, but instead discreetly replace it with a new one. To be on the safe side, we prefer to order two of them at once.

Dear Ms. Meyer, but otherwise we are very happy with our sugar snails…

A note from me: The back cushion covers the back wall well and sits very tightly in the Rondo pet bed. Little Max has to use a lot of energy and a lot of strength to get the pillow out of his cat bed. But you can also see from the pillow that brute force is used

Dog cookies that are also very tasty for cats

Ingredients:

  • 200 g wholemeal spelt flour
  • 50 g soft rolled oats
  • 40 g grated cheese, e.g. Pecorino or Parmesan
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 eggs

 

Preparation:

Mix the flour with the rolled oats and cheese. Mix the butter with the olive oil and eggs until creamy and then knead in the flour mixture until you have a smooth dough that is easy to roll out. Cut out shapes from the dough or simply cut diamonds. The pieces should be quite small for the cat, as the cookie is difficult to break into small pieces when baked. Bake in the oven at 180° for about 20 to 30 minutes.

  • Leave the cookies to dry out well overnight and then store in a tin in a dry place.
  • The recipe makes approx. 350 g of cookies.
  • The cookies will keep for at least 8 weeks.

PS: The recipe is originally for dogs. Our cat Gisela reacted very passionately to the cookies and now always gets her own portion baked.

3 Siamese in the cat house

3 siamese in the cat cave

1st day feedback shortly after delivery:
We picked up the cushion this afternoon. As soon as we put it in the Poopoopeedo at home, three of our six cats were already in it.
The fleece fabric is nice and warm, which they love, and the cave itself is also wonderfully warm. Just right for our Siamese. Sometimes it can’t be warm enough. The latex cushion makes a high-quality impression on me. So, like our cats, I am completely satisfied!

 

Day 2:
It’s absolutely conceivable that there are cat magnets in the cushions, because so far the cats haven’t been able to get out :-)) Wonderful!
By the way, I’ve been browsing your website for a while because I had my eye on the cat cuddle bag, but then I decided to focus on converting the Poopoopeedo. So you will definitely be hearing from me again.

 

Day 3:
I don’t think I need to mention that the three of them are back (or still) in the den, sleeping and snoring :-)) In the meantime, I even have to put their food bowl inside. Well, what don’t you do…..

There are many plants that are safe for kitties and some that are a real joy for cats. You might think that Mother Nature has arranged it so that animals automatically recognise which plants are poisonous for cats and which are not. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. It is safer not to rely on your pet knowing what is good or bad for them. Only put up cat-safe greenery decorations. Outdoor cats are better at recognising plant dangers, but here too, safety first!

 

These are toxic plants for cats:

There are a large number of poisonous houseplants. To keep our kitten safe, it is worth going through all the plants and sorting out those that are poisonous to our tiger. You can give them to your parents or friends the next time you visit, provided they don’t have any four-legged friends. There are different opinions about orchids. As there is an incredible variety of orchids, they have not yet been reliably analysed. We do not recommend orchids as houseplants in a cat household.

Which cut flowers are poisonous for my cat?

In principle, all cut flowers, unless they come from your own garden, are not good for our velvet paws. Cut flowers are usually heavily sprayed with pesticides and, even if they are not dangerous themselves, they are secondarily poisonous for the house cat. The most dangerous cut flower is the lily. Everything about it is poisonous, even the pollen. Tulips can cause stomach and intestinal irritation and trigger stomach cramps. The daffodil (yellow narcissus) is a popular herald of spring. Like the snowdrop, this cut flower also triggers convulsions, cardiac arrhythmia and colic in our cats. Make absolutely sure that your house cat cannot drink water from the vases. This is also poisonous in most cases.

 

How do I recognise whether my cat has been poisoned?

If these typical symptoms occur in your pet, it is very important to react quickly and consult a vet immediately. In the worst case, poisoning with plants can be fatal.

 

The symptoms of plant poisoning are

  • Diarrhoea and/or vomiting
  • Breathing problems
  • Cramps and colic
  • signs of paralysis
  • Difficulties in coordination
  • extreme salivation
  • increasing weakness

 

Which plants are suitable for my pet tiger?

There are a variety of suitable and non-toxic plants for cats for the garden, balcony and indoor areas. Please look out for toxic fertilisers and ask whether the plants have been treated with chemicals when you buy them.

Healthy nibbling fun for cats

The easiest way is to buy ready-grown cat grass from a pet shop or DIY store. Please make sure that it has not been fertilised or treated with pesticides. You can also simply buy wheat, barley and/or oat seed from an organic market. In a sheltered, bright and warm place, you can let the seeds sprout with a little soil and water. This way you have grown a healthy snack for your cat yourself.
